The short version
- psychoded is a journal and a coaching tool. It is not therapy, not medical care, and not financial advice.
- Your entries belong to you. We process them to run the app and for nothing else.
- The app talks back using AI. It can be wrong. Every trading decision remains yours.
- The app is early. Features will change, and you should not treat it as your only copy of anything you cannot lose.
This summary is here for orientation. The numbered sections below are the actual agreement.
01 The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Mohamed Nour, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, who operates psychoded. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement and explains how your data is handled.
02 What psychoded is — and what it is not
psychoded is a trading journal built around the part of trading that P&L does not record: the hesitation, the revenge trade, the stop you moved. You log a session, the app reads it back, and over time it shows you patterns in your own behaviour.
03 Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use psychoded.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us at security@psychoded.app if you believe someone else has access to it. Give accurate registration details, and do not share one account between several people — the readings the app produces are built on the assumption that one account is one trader.
04 Acceptable use
Use the app for your own journalling. Do not:
- Break the law with it, or use it to harm anyone.
- Upload content you have no right to upload, or anyone else's personal data.
- Attempt to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours.
- Probe, scrape, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or work around its access controls or rate limits. Good-faith security research reported to security@psychoded.app is welcome and is not a breach of this section.
- Resell the service, or use it to build a competing product.
05 Your content
Your journal entries, screenshots and everything else you put into the app remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.
You grant us only the narrow permission needed to actually run the service for you: to store your content, sync it between your devices, back it up, and pass it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy so the app can transcribe, analyse and speak it back to you. That permission exists for the purpose of operating psychoded, ends when you delete the content or your account, and does not extend to using your journal to train AI models or to marketing.
You are responsible for what you upload and for having the right to upload it.
06 AI output
psychoded uses AI to transcribe your voice, read your charts and generate its readings. AI systems make mistakes. A transcript can mishear a word, a chart reading can misread a level, and a summary can draw a conclusion that does not hold.
Treat what the app says as a prompt for your own thinking, never as fact and never as instruction. Check anything that matters before you act on it. Where the app extracts figures from a screenshot it will show you what it read so you can correct it — please do.
07 Availability, and the state of the app
psychoded is under active development and is currently offered for testing. Features may change, move or disappear, and the service may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We offer no uptime guarantee.
We take nightly backups and keep offsite copies, and we work hard not to lose anything. Even so, no backup regime is perfect. Do not treat psychoded as the sole copy of anything you could not stand to lose. You can request an export of your data at any time.
08 Price
psychoded is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we will say so clearly in advance, and no charge will ever appear without you actively choosing it first.
09 Ending it
You may stop using psychoded and delete your account whenever you like, by writing to support@psychoded.app.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 04, or where we are required to by law. Except where the breach makes it impossible or unlawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your data first.
10 Liability
psychoded is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or lost or corrupted data.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in this section.
11 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date and version at the top will change, and for material changes we will email registered users. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you can close your account and take your data with you.
12 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction. If you use psychoded as a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
